Eric S.
Johnsen
Cinematographer
Narrative, commercial, and product cinematography grounded in story, movement, and light.

Eric S. Johnsen is a Los Angeles–based cinematographer whose work moves between narrative filmmaking, commercial motion, and product imagery—always anchored in story, movement, and light.
Raised in Dallas, Eric moved to Austin to study Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas, earning his BS in RTF in 2019. He now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, television writer Aish Noubad, and their cat Emmy—short for Emmet, not the award.
Eric began telling stories with cameras in middle school. Volunteer work at his church took him from camera operator to technical director on multi-camera teams, a practical foundation he carried into narrative production throughout college.
At VoroMotors, Eric built the marketing team from the ground up, ultimately growing it to eight people. The work sharpened his commercial practice across motion, product photography, drone imagery, post-production, and the visual language of electric-mobility campaigns.
